Introductory information can be found in the clubgolf
Programme section of the site.
If you would like to speak to someone about how your golf club
or facility can get involved with clubgolf, please contact your
local clubgolf Regional Manager.
They will be able to answer any queries you have and talk you
through the process. They will also be able to give you examples
of how the programme is working at some of the other 273 clubs
and facilities across Scotland delivering clubgolf and will be
there to provide ongoing support for your club once you have
signed up.
If your golf club or facility would like to offer coaching opportunities
for juniors, then clubgolf:
• provides a structured player and coaching pathway, resources
and support
• offers materials to promote your coaching programmes
• helps you establish links to local schools currently
delivering ‘firstclubgolf’
introductory programmes
• creates more coaching opportunities for Professionals
Furthermore, clubgolf can help you:
• understand and adhere to policies and procedures that
help keep children safe and
secure in sport
• manage and develop facilities for juniors
• identify funding opportunities
• provide PGA mentoring and other development opportunities
for your coaches
We also organise clubgolf volunteer tournaments and opportunities
to bring groups of children to clubgolf activity areas at major
golf events held in Scotland with free tickets for coaches accompanying
them.

Testimonial from Kemnay Golf Club, Grampian:
“We have an excellent Junior Convener who saw the potential
of clubgolf. This year the club has a junior team for the first
time in years because before clubgolf we didn’t have enough
juniors playing. We had 50 children on our clubgolf Stage 1 programme
last year and most came from learning firstclubgolf in primary
schools.”
