Golf is a fun, safe and inexpensive game for life. It is a fantastic way of getting an enjoyable physical exercise routine as well as promoting important values such as socialising.

Below we answer the most common questions we are asked, however if you don't find an answer below please don't hesitate to contact us.

How safe will our children be?
A.
All clubgolf coaches are qualified to coach through the PGA Level 1 course. Their training includes child protection and Disclosure checks.
Q.
How much does it cost?
A.
Each clubgolf Stage 1 coaching session, run at a local golf club, costs between £1 and £3.
Q.
Do children need to wear special clothing?
A.
No they don’t even need to wear golf shoes

Do they need to take their own clubs?
A.
No, the clubs provide their own equipment.
Q.
How much coaching will my child receive and when
will coaching take place?
A.
Stage 1 of the clubgolf programme is a 2 year course, with 20 hours of coaching each year. Every golf club or facility delivering a programme may run the coaching at different times, but most will start around May each year. Your local Active Schools Coordinator or clubgolf Regional Manager will have details.
